DHTML is a combination of Javascript and CSS-P that developers can use to dynamically display, hide, or move elements on a web page.

Probably the most common use of DHTML is in drop-down menus. But it can be used to do lots of other interesting things. For example, the dynamic display of descriptive text under the small image-map on this site is done with DHTML.

For more examples of what can be done with DHTML, check out this site.
